Texas Flower Print

This flower was the first of many. The beginning of a deeper connection between myself, photography, and the earth beneath my feet. Lying delicately in the wet grass after a Texas rainstorm, this beautiful flower was no longer attached to its stem, yet it held a presence all its own.

With its soft pink, golden yellow, and warm red tones, this Texas flower felt like a moment preserved by nature itself. A reminder that beauty does not always exist in perfect places or perfect moments. Sometimes it is found in what has been left behind, waiting to be noticed.

This photograph became the start of my appreciation for capturing the small details of the natural world. A timeless piece of Texas, a memory of rain, earth, and a flower that I will never forget.
